I am a compassionate instructor with high expectations, who believes first and foremost the classroom is a community. Whether involved in performance, choreography, or research, movement is my tool to connect with others. I seek to meet each student where they are and what they come in the room with. I continually pursue new ways of exploring expression and seek to develop students’ unique perspectives in that process. My artistic practice sparks the participant’s awareness of their own agency through mentorship and collaboration .
